LONDON: British new car registrations in April rose 8.2 percent compared with a year earlier, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders said on Wednesday. Registrations totalled 176,820 units, the SMMT said. It also revised up its 2014 forecast to more than 2.4 million registrations from a previous forecast of 2.3 million.
